Director, Business Development
The Director, Business Development undertakes promotion and development of business investment and job creation projects. Provides day-to-day support and supervision for team members who work on business retention/expansion and attraction. Helps Economic Development Team ensure that appropriate community resources and support are available to achieve client’s business objectives.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or other related field; minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in economic development and public policy; demonstrated track record in supervision as well as business retention/expansion, and attraction projects.

Director, Core Initiatives
The Director, Core Initiatives has day to day responsibility for working with business, federal, state, and local government units and local community representatives ensuring that appropriate messaging is communicated regarding all the various Chamber resources and initiatives available to support businesses and the greater community at large. In addition, the Director, Core Initiatives is also responsible for managing relationships with the Operating Board, Regional Leadership Council and Strategic Board. Must have knowledge of the following: Chamber economic development functions, chamber education and training initiatives, chamber member service opportunities; and partnerships with individuals and organizations that contribute to the overall economic position of Genesee County. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or other related field; minimum of seven (7) years of direct experience in business administration and/or government relations. Demonstrated track record in business retention, expansion, and attraction projects.

The Learning Guide will work directly with after school students providing support with day school and after school lessons and homework. Additionally, the Learning Guide will provide students with positive relationship building techniques and provide supervision and instruction on a variety of educational and enrichment activities.
Associates Degree in Education, Management, Youth Development, or related field is preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in direct work with youth and families required.
