The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is seeking qualified candidates for the following open position(s):

Operations Coordinator – Part time

The purpose of this part time position is to support the Director of Operations by coordinating and executing organization wide activities. These activities may include but are not limited to securing bids for supplies and insurance, maintaining inventory and database of office furniture/equipment, and assisting with various special projects including event set-up, and tear down. The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, IT, Management or other related field, administrative skills, and the ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Human Resources Assistant

The purpose of this full time position is to assist with the implementation, and monitoring of human resources programs and policies. The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing human resources functions.

Site Team Leader, YouthQuest After School Initiative

The Site Team Leader will provide daily management and implementation of all components of the YouthQuest After School program at the respective school site. He/She serves as the primary contact with the school principal, day school staff, parents, students, and local community. Position requires Associates Degree in education, management, youth development or related field; Bachelor’s preferred. Position also requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience in direct work with youth and families.

Learning Guide

The Learning Guide will work directly with after school students providing support with day school and after school lessons and homework. Additionally, the Learning Guide will provide students with positive relationship building techniques and provide supervision and instruction on a variety of educational and enrichment activities.

Associates Degree in Education, Management, Youth Development, or related field is preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in direct work with youth and families required.
