(FLINT, Mich., Aug. 10, 2023) The Flint & Genesee Group is a finalist for Ragan’s 2023 CSR & Diversity Awards. This recognition celebrates the efforts of organizations that have demonstrated exemplary commitment to corporate social responsibility and fostering diversity and inclusion within their communities and workplaces.
Specifically, the Group is one of 12 finalists in the category of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commitment for its work in promoting, supporting, and fostering diversity as part of its corporate culture. The Group is being considered for its work to ensure racial equity and reduce disparities through efforts of the organization and its divisions including – but not limited to – the launch of the Flint & Genesee Business Bridge, the re-launch of the African American Advisory Committee, and the execution of the Moving Flint Forward Small Business Grant Program.

Other finalists in the DEI Commitment category include Mastercard, Vera Bradley, and Mars Food.
The winners of Ragan’s CSR & Diversity Awards will be announced during a special industry Awards Luncheon on Sept. 28, 2023, held at the Yale Club in New York City.
