October is here, and Halloween is approaching quickly. In Flint & Genesee, there are plenty of haunted places to get you in the spooky spirit. Here are the top places to seek scary thrills.
Exit 13
Voted best haunted attraction in Genesee County two years in a row, Exit 13 is the largest haunted house in the area. This year, the attraction has been renovated and expanded to be scarier than ever.
Clio Manor
The two-story haunted house is open through Halloween. Clio Manor has three attractions, the haunted manor, a buried-alive experience and the extreme zombie paint shoot.
The Crypt at Chemco
During the month of October, Chemco Pool & Spa Supplies in Burton turns into a horror experience during the weekends with state-of-the-art effects that bring out your worst fears.
Dreadlands Haunt
In Davison, Dreadlands Haunt offers four horror experiences. The Laboratories feature 46 intense rooms over multiple levels, the Zombie Sniper Arena allows guests to fight against the undead, the Labyrinth has secret passageways and moving walls, and the zip-line, included with the Labyrinth, takes you to the maze’s entrance.
Stockton Center
The historic house in Flint is known for its haunted past. On October 6, guests can go on a ghost tour and experience the chills of the former residence, hospital and nursing home.
