TeenQuest Grad Credits Program for His Success

Landon Hendricks was employed by Tim Horton’s a mere three months before his first promotion to supervisor. Soon after he skipped past assistant manager and was named general manager of the company’s Grand Blanc store in July of 2012. Today he is the general manager of a Tim Horton’s Flint location.

What was the secret to his success? “I had a better outlook and was prepared for the job because of my TeenQuest training,” said Hendricks.

The TeenQuest graduate says he learned to think ahead and focus on how to be a good employee through the program.  According to Hendricks his success is not unusual.

“Everyone I graduated from TeenQuest with is doing well,” said Hendricks. “They are all working and some have worked for the same employer for a number of years. The program really helped a lot of people stay on track.  There is a wonderful group of people leading the program; they are like a family to me.”

His first job following graduation from TeenQuest was working as a trainer for Sonic. In that position, he traveled around the country and had an opportunity to experience corporate life. Hendrick says his long term goal is to own his own business.

“I would like to own a medical care facility.  I want to do something that helps people.”
