Looking to Grow Your Business? Government Contracting Could Be the Answer

PTAC Sponsors Free Government Contracting Seminar on August 3

Genesee Regional PTAC(FLINT, MICHIGAN, JULY 29) Looking to grow your business?  Then follow the road map to government contracting on Wednesday, August 3 as the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) of the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce presents Selling your Products or Services to the Government from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce in the Mott Board Room.

Is it possible to become a successful contractor with the State of Michigan or the federal government?  Can small businesses tap into the more than $400 billion in goods and services the federal government purchases each year? Can diversification through government contracts grow your business?

According to Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Regional Chamber, the answer is definitely – yes.  He says there are incredible opportunities for businesses willing to learn the right way to approach the government market.

“This seminar provides the road map to government contracting,” said Frigy. “There are many opportunities for businesses large and small to work with local, state and federal government departments.  If you need to grow and diversify your business then you should attend the seminar to explore the possibilities.”

Attendees also will learn about the services and support the Regional Chamber PTAC has available to help with the contracting process. Those encouraged to attend include management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.

The seminar focuses on the following topics:
