Michigan’s Director of Urban and Metropolitan Initiatives to Address Chamber Annual Meeting

Harvey Hollins to Speak March 28 at Riverfront Banquet Center

The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its 2012 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 28 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Riverfront Banquet Center in downtown Flint. The meeting is open to Regional Chamber members, as well as the community-at-large.

Harvey Hollins, III, Director of Urban and Metropolitan Initiatives for the State of Michigan is the keynote speaker for the luncheon.  Hollins will focus on “Expect More:  Opportunities and Outcomes”.

According to Tim Herman, CEO of the Regional Chamber the Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to celebrate the successes of 2011 and discuss what the future holds for the region.

“Positive things continue to happen in the region,” said Herman.  “The annual meeting is the time each year when we can assess where we are and where we are going as a region.  It is a good thing to come together with our members, partners and the community to look forward toward our game plan for growth in the coming months.”
