“We are thrilled to be able to bring Disney Institute back for a second year with ‘Disney’s Approach to Creativity & Innovation.’ This workshop will help participating organizations tap the hidden value that exists ‘inside the box’ and develop the creative potential of their enterprise,” said Rhetta Hunyady, Vice President of Education and Training for the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce.

This immersive benchmarking experience will engage participants in the time-tested best practices, sound methodologies, and real-life business lessons that sustained the global success of Disney for over 85 years.  The result?  Relevant tools and actionable strategies that can be adapted to achieve your company’s transformation goals.

“Most everyone recognizes the ‘cast’ concept at Disney. The Disney Institute takes team and customer service/sales to new levels of recognition with entertaining, insightful, easily implemented steps that will change customer’s perceptions of your organization,” said Kevin Keane, Area Manager of Consumers Energy Flint-Lapeer, and a 2012 Disney Institute participant. “The best day I’ve ever invested in a seminar.”

Workshop topics include fostering a collaborative culture, defining and organizational identity, establishing structural systems and understanding the leader’s role.

This professional development experience explores how The Walt Disney Company taps into its workforce as a continuous fountain of creative ideas and innovative solutions. The workshop will allow participants to examine how Disney leaders at all levels effectively blend a framework of organizational identity and structural systems, with a collaborative and inspirational culture to create a steady flow of innovative products and services in and increasingly competitive marketplace.
