Celebrate Independence Day in Flint and Genesee County

The Fourth of July is just around the corner and many cities and towns in Flint & Genesee are celebrating in their own way. Looking for some ideas on where to hang out? Here are a few places you can celebrate our nation’s birthday:

Fenton Freedom Festival

On July 4, Fenton will be celebrating the day with the 29th Fenton Freedom Festival. The day of events includes a parade in downtown Fenton, a 5K Race & Fun Run, live music and more. The day will end with fireworks in Silver Lake Park at 10 p.m.

Flint July 4th Festival

Visit downtown Flint for a family-fun celebration with Fireworks and a live performance by the Flint Symphony Orchestra featuring the Beatles’ classic hits and patriotic favorites at Atwood Stadium.

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad – Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day at the Village featuring fun games, an old-fashioned ice cream social, midway games, face painting and a flag retirement ceremony.

Clio Family Fun Day & Fireworks

Enjoy this Fourth of July with family-friendly games and events, free concerts, and more followed by a fireworks display.

Montrose Township Fireworks

Enjoy an evening of fireworks starting at dusk at Montrose Township Barber Park.
