PTAC Sponsors Federal Contracting Webinar on February 10

Genesee Regional PTAC(FLINT, MICHIGAN, FEBRUARY 3) Federal contracting presents a wealth of opportunity for businesses large and small. To learn how to work with the federal government, join the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) of the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce on Friday, February 10 for a webinar on How to Sell Your Goods and Services to the Federal Government from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Regional Chamber says this federal government contracting webinar just may provide the tools needed to grow your business.

“The federal government market presents a wealth of opportunity,” said Frigy. “Hundreds of billions of dollars are spent each year by federal government departments, which provides a unique growth opportunity for businesses of all sizes.  That’s why this webinar is so important.  It provides the information needed to successfully navigate the government maze and reveals exactly what it takes to become a contractor.  This hour-long webinar could make a difference for your business in 2012.”

Recent PTAC contracting seminar participant Alison Shively, President of Shively Diversified Management Services says she learned many things that will help her business this year.

“I am having my employees participate in the webinar, because I learned so much at the seminar and I want to leverage that knowledge to get government contracts,” said Shively.  “As a small business owner, I was impressed with how well the PTAC staff broke down the information and made it so easy to understand.  I would encourage any business owner interested in government contracting to participate in the webinar or a seminar.  It will definitely make a difference.”

Participants will learn about the services and support the Regional Chamber PTAC has available to help with the contracting process. Those encouraged to attend include management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.

The webinar focuses on the following topics:

  • Eligibility Requirements
