Are you interested in providing goods or services to the City of Flint or Genesee County? Then you should join the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) as they host a Local Contracting Opportunities 5.0 workshop. The workshop takes place on Thursday, June 26 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Chamber offices in downtown Flint.
Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Chamber says businesses should consider learning how government contracting can increase growth and diversification. He says the workshop will provide all of the information needed to pursue local and county government contracts, along with navigating the bid process and developing proposals. Genesee County Purchasing Manager Cindy Carnes will also be on hand to provide information about working with the county.
