The Flint water emergency has prompted a mass mobilization of resources to protect the city’s drinking water and restore trust in the municipal water system.
Residents have been impacted significantly by the crisis and the local business community has taken a hit, too. Nearly all Flint-based businesses are experiencing a financial impact to varying degrees due to the purchasing of water services and bottled water for their employees and/or customers.
The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce created this website to share credible information about the efforts underway in response to this community challenge. The website is updated regularly and includes details on how the Chamber is supporting businesses, and the public at-large, by working with our partners at all levels of government to safeguard the city’s drinking water.
