New Ministry in Historic Capitol Theater Building

FLINT, MICH. May 11, 2011 – Flint’s historic Capitol Theater now has a new occupant. It has become the proud home of Hand of God Ministries (HOGM) a new community focused ministry.   In celebration, the HOGM will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, May 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the Capitol Theater.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be staged by Pastor Le Bailey and Pastor Tonya Bailey; Flint Mayor Dayne Walling; and Steve Flynn, Director of Member Services for the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce. Other civic leaders, businesses, professionals, and leaders of local churches and assemblies within the Genesee County area will also attend.

Flint natives and founders of Hand of God Ministries, Pastor Le Bailey & Pastor Tonya Bailey invite the community to come and be a part of this exciting event in the heart of the City of Flint. “At a time when the Flint community is experiencing its share of challenges, we at HOGM want to work with the City and other organizations to respond to community needs,” said Pastor Le Bailey.

The community is also invited to attend the first official Grand Opening service on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 12 Noon.

The ministry is located at 600 E. Harrison St. directly across from the MTA bus station, in the historic Capitol Theater Building. Both of the events are free and open to the public.

Hand of God Ministries is a unique ministry that will focus primarily on the rebuilding of the whole Man, Family, Community, and the Nations.  The vision of this ministry first took form back in 1995.  With over 16 years of ministry experience, the leaders of Hand of God Ministries stepped out on faith earlier this year to evoke positive change in Flint. “HOGM is a multi-cultural, international and non-denominational fellowship of individuals that are joining forces to usher change in our city, state, country, and the world at large,” said Pastor Tonya Bailey.
