‘Networking’ Seen as Primary Chamber Benefit; 96 Percent Say They Would Recommend Chamber

The 2013 Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Annual Member Survey results reinforce the importance of networking opportunities to Chamber members.  Respondents to the 13-question survey overwhelmingly selected networking as the primary benefit of Chamber membership.  Ninety-six percent of those taking the survey also said they would recommend the Chamber to other businesses.

Survey results also revealed that a majority of respondents are focused on growing their businesses, followed by job creation and attracting/retaining college students in the area.  Business training was second to networking as the greatest Chamber value.

Seventy-six percent of the respondents said they were aware of the fall Flint and Genesee branding campaign.  Billboards, television and print advertising, respectively were referenced as the media most seen.
