Join MEDC Region 8 Partners and Pure Michigan Economic Growth Executive Group on October 10
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation Region 8 partners in conjunction with the Pure Michigan Economic Growth Executive Group (EGEG), recently formed by Governor Rick Snyder to facilitate collaboration between key government departments, is hosting an information session on Wednesday, October 10. The session runs from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Flint Mass Transportation Authority in Flint.
The EGEG departments are working together to support business development and climate, community development, talent enhancement and image enhancement. The EGEG includes the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Michigan State Housing Development Authority, Michigan Department of Transportation and Licensing & Regulatory Affairs.
Attending the session will benefit business owners/management, educators, elected officials, community and economic development professionals and other community stakeholders.
The MEDC Region 8 Partners include Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership, Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, Lapeer Development Corporation and St. Clair Economic Development Alliance.
