Visitors to Flint and Genesee County can be close to it all at the Wingate By Wyndham Flint/Grand Blanc hotel. Celebrating 15 years at the current location in July, Wingate by Wyndham was originally focused on the business traveler. “Over the years, we’ve developed relationships with various sports groups, organizations, and the CVB to bring leisure and weekend travelers to the hotel as well,” said Lori Moore, Director of Sales.

Ron Walli, General Manager of the hotel, grew up in a hospitality-focused family. His family owns and operates Walli’s restaurant in Burton, the Wingate by Wyndham, Firkin and Fox, Super-8,  and Everclean Laundry. He took over as General Manager of Wingate by Wyndham in 2004.

“My family has a multi-generational tradition of owning local businesses,” said Walli. “We’ve enjoyed living and working in Genesee County for many years, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. “

The hotel is conveniently located near Interstate 475, I-75, I-69, and U.S. 23.  It provides easy access to Frankenmuth, Crossroads Village, Birch Run and Great Lakes Crossing outlet shopping, as well as local festivals and events. Wingate by Wyndham is a great home base for exploring the area.

Additionally, Bishop International Airport is less than 10 minutes from the hotel making it a great choice for business travelers to the area.

Amenities include a free hot buffet breakfast, an evening reception every day and a free edition of USA Today newspaper for guests.
