FLINT, MI– Moving Flint Forward, a new program started by the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce and General Motors, will distribute $200,000 to local small businesses partnering with nonprofits to better the community.
The competitive program will grant up to $10,000 to eligible small businesses to address challenges preventing their ability to “grow and thrive.” Tim Herman, the chamber’s CEO, said the planning the program began in mid-June.
