The newly named and renovated Best Western Flint Airport Inn & Suites on Hill Road yesterday celebrated its grand opening.
The Mundy Township hotel, which recently completed a $1.5 million renovation and rebranding, opened its doors to the community with refreshments and tours provided. With 50 luxurious standard rooms and 19 elegant suites, including kitchenettes, the Best Western Flint Airport Inn & Suites has a room type to suit every type of traveler from business to leisure.
“This renovation and brand change to Best Western shows our commitment to providing the best quality to local residents and those visiting our community,” said General Manager Sam Muraeky.
The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“Best Western is a great addition to Flint & Genesee,” said CVB Director DeAndra McCain. “We’re looking forward to working with the fantastic team at Best Western team as we continue to promote our region to tourists and business travelers.”
