TeenQuest is a free afterschool pre-employment and leadership training program sponsored by the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce.
Teen Quest is designed to teach Genesee County teens important skills needed to help you stand out in the crowd to employers. Are you a teen 14-19 years old, currently in grades 9-12 and want to get and keep a job? If so, this program is for you!
Teens that successfully complete TeenQuest are eligible to participate in the Summer Youth Initiative Job Fair. Plus, other employment or intern opportunities may be available through area employers throughout the school year to teens who complete the program.

Volunteerism is a significant part of the TeenQuest experience. Not only does it connect you with community members who need assistance, but it shows how the effort to lend a hand, gives back to the volunteer on numerous levels. Volunteering at the end of the TeenQuest program is a prerequisite for graduation.
- Students must dress appropriately for a job interview.
- Students must demonstrate their job interview skills in a mock interview.
