The Flint & Genesee Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is the Presenting Sponsor of the Michigan Mile USATF Masters One Mile National Championship at 2016 HealthPlus Crim Festival of Races.
As part of the sponsorship, the Flint & Genesee Chamber/CVB logo will be featured on the back of all Michigan Mile race t-shirts. It also includes the opportunity to start USATF Masters Championship Men’s and Women’s Races, among other benefits. The Michigan Mile USATF Masters One Mile National Championship will be August 26.
According to the USA Track & Field (USATF), the national governing body for track & field, long-distance running and race walking in the U.S.: “The Michigan Mile Race Series has become the most exciting one-mile road race in the state. As part of the HealthPlus Crim Festival of Races, it has taken on a life of its own and has become the major highlight of Friday night. The Michigan Mile Race Series is a featured event of the Bring Back the Mile race series.”

It means so much to our community and is a great source of pride,” said CVB Director DeAndra McCain. “We’re thrilled to be the Presenting Sponsor of one of its highlight races, particularly as the Crim celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.”
The Crim, which features the renowned 10-mile road race that attracts elite runners from around the world, will be held Aug. 25-27.
