The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce membership has grown to exceed 1,000 organizations in Flint and Genesee County. Through four business units, including Economic Development, Member Services, Education and Training and the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Chamber works to promote and grow the region, support the community and facilitate collaborations.
Recently, several new team members joined the Chamber staff. Here is an overview of who’s new at the Chamber.
Heather N. Kale has joined the Chamber as Director, Member Services. She previously served as Director of Communications and Outreach for Priority Children.
Susana Wight is the new Chamber Member Services Sales Manager. She is an entrepreneur who has created several businesses, including Airhead Balloons, LLC.
Dawn Hibbard has joined the Chamber as Manager, Communications and Public Relations. She previously served as Director of Media Relations and Social Media for Kettering University.
Meghan Hoffman is the new Convention Sales Manager for the Convention and Visitors Bureau. She was Catering Sales Manager for the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre prior to joining the Chamber.
Rafael Turner has joined the Chamber as Manager, Community Outreach. He most recently served as a Community Affairs Specialist for U.S. Senator Carl Levin.
