Enjoy some family-fun, outdoor ice skating at Flint’s Downtown University Pavilion. The ice rink actually opened in 1985 as part of Water Street Pavilion and closed just prior to the University of Michigan Flint’s purchase of the property in 1990. The rink is in walking distance to a variety of downtown Flint restaurants and entertainment. There is no admission and skaters must provide their own skates. Open skate runs Wednesdays, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and every Saturday & Sunday afternoon during winter months.
