TeenQuest, a free afterschool program that provides pre-employment training to high school students in Genesee County, is building its team for the current school year.
The program is seeking qualified individuals to serve as independent contracted facilitators to lead training during the five-week program, which is offered multiple times each year.
The program covers 13 workplace modules to prepare teens for their first work experience. Topics include effective communication, conflict resolution, goal setting, application and resume development, and financial literacy. Training experience with teens and adults is preferred.
