(FLINT, Mich. – Jan. 20, 2016) The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Region 6 PTAC and the I-69 Thumb Region, are gearing up for the 3rd Annual Flint & Genesee Meet the Buyer event.

And the number of prospective buyers is up nearly 50 percent – from 21 to 31 – over last year’s event.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to have a face-to-face connection with buyers at the city, state and federal government,” said Stacy Betts, Director of the Region 6 PTAC. “Small businesses looking for diversification opportunities should attend. But space is limited.”

‘Meet the Buyer’ takes place on Jan. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Riverfront Banquet Center in Flint.

The format is similar to ‘speed dating’ and provides a fast-paced, innovative way for businesses to connect with buyers from across the region. Each buyer will have five minutes to share information about their organization and what they buy, followed by 15 minutes for attendees to briefly present their companies and ask questions.
